Afternoon of Day 1
Clinical residency
In the afternoon, witness a live clinical endodontic treatment performed by me, providing invaluable insights into real-world practice. All treatments are performed under clinical microscope. Connected to a large wall LCD, the microscope allows for a close-up view of every intricate detail, ensuring that you can observe and analyze each step with unparalleled clarity.
Engage in dynamic discussions and receive in-depth explanations of each phase of the procedure, learning tips and tricks, and understanding the rationale behind every decision. This immersive experience transforms theory into practice, bridging the gap between knowledge and application.
Morning of Day 2
Hands-on pre-clinical training
Day two kicks off with hands-on practice under microscope magnification in a pre-clinical environment, allowing you to refine your techniques with precision and confidence. Choose between endodontic access, mechanical instrumentation with state-of-the-art systems, advanced obturation techniques, retreatment procedures like GP removal, post removal, separated files management, apical plugs with MTA, repair of perforations and resorptions, etc.
Afternoon of Day 2
Pre-clinical training on phantom head
In the afternoon, it's your turn to shine as you perform a full pre-clinical treatment on a phantom head, under microscope or loupes magnification—whichever suits your preference—simulating a true clinical experience. From a full treatment on a real tooth, all the way to specific and specialized procedures, like removal of separated files, management and repair of perforations, MTA apical plugs, removal of a metal or fiber glass post, removal of GP, etc. Whatever you decide to do, you'll certainely embark on a transformative learning experience designed to unleash your full potential in Endodontics.

3-Month Online Mentorship program

Who is Rui Pereira da Costa?
Rui Pereira da Costa, DDS, MsC, PhD, FICD
Prof. Rui Pereira da Costa graduated from the University of Porto Dentistry College – Oporto, Portugal in 1995, and completed his Master of Science in Endodontics at the International University of Catalonia - Barcelona, Spain in 2004. He completed his Doctorate in Endodontics at the São Paulo University - Brasil, in 2024.
He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, and since 2005 he is Assistant Professor of the Master in Endodontics post-graduation program at the International University of Catalonia - Barcelona, as well as Assistant Professor in the Post-Graduation program in Endodontics at the University of Lisbon Dentistry College, since 2010.
Prof. Rui Pereira da Costa is the founder and director of the RPCendo post-graduation on-site and online courses in Endodontics, and has trained more than 1000 dentists from Portugal, Spain, Mozambique, UK, Switzerland, Brazil, France, Sweden, Netherlands, etc.
